Early Life and Education
Born in Vijayawada, Sri Subrahmanyam pursued his higher education in Commerce at the prestigious Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada. He graduated in 1968, securing the distinction of being the Andhra University First Rank holder, a remarkable academic achievement that reflected his commitment to excellence from an early age.
Entrepreneurial Journey
In 1969, Sri Subrahmanyam entered the family business, which specialized in rice mill machinery and internal combustion oil engines trading and manufacturing. Through innovation and perseverance, he played an instrumental role in strengthening the enterprise and contributed to the development of import-substitute machinery for the rice milling industry, thereby supporting the growth and modernization of this vital sector.
Expanding his entrepreneurial interests, he ventured into real estate development in 1984, initiating several housing projects in Vijayawada. His foresight and strategic vision later led him to expand operations into Bangalore in 1993, where he initiated real estate activities that continue to thrive. These ventures are presently managed by his elder son, while Sri Subrahmanyam has gradually stepped away from day-to-day business responsibilities.
